Nice Airport Transportation: Bus, Taxi

Nice Côte d'Azur airport is located 6km in the southwest of Nice, in the region of Alpes-Maritimes. The airport is only 30kms to the Principality of Monaco. The Airport is well connected to Nice with bus and train, but we recommend to rent a car if you plan to visit the magnific coastline and/or visit Monaco. Check also prices for car rentals if you plan one-day visit to Nice in non-peak season, sometimes is cheaper than public transport ( bus, taxi or train).

TaxiTaxi

The Taxis are located in both terminals. In Terminal 1, the taxi rank is located in front of Gate A1.

In Terminal 2, the taxi rank is located in front of Gate A3.

 

There are 350 taxis serving the city of Nice and the service is available 24 hours a day during all the year. The taxis in airport should be taken at the taxi-rank, but in other places of the city, the taxis can be hailed in the street.


Fares: The approximately fare from Airport to Nice city center is as follows:

- Day (7am to 7pm): 22€ to 30€

- Night or Sundays/Bank Holidays: 27€ to 32€

These prices doesn't include the baggage supplement (approx. 1€ per baggage). Is it only posible to pay with cash.

BusBus

There are specifics shuttle buses that connects Nice Airport to Nice City Center (Price: 4€):

- Line 98 (From/To: Riquier)

Every 20 min.

- Line 99 (From/To: Nice Ville SCNF)

Every 30 min.

Shuttle Bus inter-Terminal

There is a free shuttle bus that connects Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. every 5-10min. The shuttle stops are located in:

- Terminal 1: In front of Gate A0

- Terminal 2: Between Gates A2 and A3.

 

Train

There is not direct service from Nice Airport, but you can buy there the train tickets and go by bus to the nearest train stations, indicated below:

- TER Railway Station Saint-Agustin: 4min by bus from Terminal 1.

- Main Railway Station Nice Ville: 15 min by bus from Terminal 1 and 2
